Pockets

The players: one old house, a cool end of summer evening, a mama, two boys and a mouse
The situation: a mouse comes out and decides to play, much to the mama’s dismay (a scream or two might be involved).
The words exchanged: From the small boy: Can we keep the mouse? Don’t worry mama, he can live in my pockets.
Then: From the big boy: How can the mouse fit in your pocket with all the spiders you keep in there?

Just wanted to document a bit of my life here on the good ol' blog-o, so I never forget the pocket full of spiders...

Over on the Artful Delight Blog I have a quick tips and tricks post on a different way to use washi tape. A roll of this really fun pattern from October Afternoon was included in the September Card Kit...I had to put it to good use! I hope that you have a minute or two to stop over at Artful Delight to check it out! And while you are there, check out the sketch challenges! There is just a few days left to participate in a layout or card sketch for your chance to win a free kit!

What a fun card. However, I think you upstaged it with that story of your sons- TOO funny!

Ha! At first I didn't know if you were quoting a really well-know story or something then realized it's very true! Love the graphic card. Sept kit has been played with several times on this craft desk! Love it!

Aren't kids fun???
I never tire of your stories.
And I love this card, I thought maybe you have done the coloring on the chevrons yourself.

ack. Thank goodness I had a girl. She screams when she sees spiders just like her mama! Lol.
Adore the washi treatment! Genius as always!!!
